T-Ball!!!

Well Kai had his first t-ball game on Saturday!!! It was a suc
cess! The team did a great job. They don't do outs, or keep score, or anythin
g like that, so everybody won! Kai had two great hits, and if we were counting outs he would have gotten two people out! We can just say Ben and I are two proud parents!!! Oh yeah his team is the Red Sox!

Now here is a funny story- when we
got to the field we saw a few people we knew, so we chit chatted for a minute. We then went to go sit down. While we were sit
ting we started looking around and we realized we could
n't find Kai anywhere. So Ben and I started looking everywhere. We looked over the whole place twice and couldn't find him anywhere! I then turned and looked on the field and there was Kai out on the field.
There was a game going on at the time and he had just gone in the dugout with one of the other teams. He was so excited and ready to play that he went ahead and went in one of the dugouts. I guess Ben and I didn't do a good job of explaining to him that we had to wait for the other game to finish before it was his turn to play. Ben and I met him at the gate as he was coming out and he had this terrified look on his face. His daddy took him to the car cause he was so upset and he even started crying. Ben tried to calm him down, but it took a few minutes. He was so embarrassed,
but we told him that everyone thought it was cute and they knew he was ready to play! It took a little while, but he finally calmed down and played and had a great
time playing! Ben and I felt so bad for him, but it was pretty funny!!!

The picture above and below are pictures I took right after we found him (check the above story). I thought maybe taking his picture would help cheer him up. It didn't, and you can see how upset he was.

The picture below is a picture of me showing Kai where to stand! I am an assistant coach! It is so much fun!

I am having troubles with the videos, so as soon as I get it figured out I will post the videos of his hits.

My Valentine's Present!!!

Alright everyone I am trying to pick this back up again! I have to keep up with my mom and sister! This is my first quick one for right now, and I will work on playing catch up a little later today, hopefully! This is my new car that I got for Valentine's Day! It is a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country. So far we like it, and the boys think it is great too! We are enjoying it, and I am no longer stuck at home!!! YAY!!! For those of you who know me know I don't like to be at home all the time, so this is a wonderful thing!!!

Hello and Welcome!

Hello to everyone! I am just now getting started with this blog thing, so here we go. We are currently living in Liberty, Mississippi, where Ben is from. We are living in his grandma's house. We have two boys. They are Kai, who is two and Jackson, who is 10 1/2 months. Ben graduated in August and is an assistant football coach with his brother, who is the head coach of the public school here. He also has a couple of other jobs too. I have started back with school. I am taking online classes through Southwest Mississippi Community College. I am planning on going to nursing school next year. Kai loves being a big brother and helps me with Jackson all the time. He also loves playing with his cousins since we have been here. He is getting big and learning all kinds of stuff. He likes to sing and read books and play. Jackson loves his big brother. He could be entertained by Kai all day. He is getting big as well. He loves to crawl around and get into everything. He is a very curious boy. He likes to walk holding on to something too. It probably won't be long before he starts walking. He also has 5 teeth now and loves to bite down on everything, oh and put everything in his mouth.

Kai decided he wanted to try out some of my makeup, so this is the outcome of his experiment.

Kai likes to be like Jackson sometimes and they like to crawl around all over the floor just in their diapers. Kai sometimes starts talking baby talk too when they crawl around.

Kai's cousin had a tattoo on his arm exactly like the one Kai has. Kai liked it, so he decided he wanted one, so his aunt put it on for him. He thinks it is pretty cool. Might as well let them wear fake ones so they won't want real ones- right mom!

Here are some pictures from Ben's graduation.

If you look close enough you can see Ben in the background.

This was Ben's favorite teacher and he was also his advisor. He is also the father of Cara's high school basketball coach, so we know him very well.

This is the cake that my sister-in-law made for Ben's graduation party that we had with his family.
